Student Life at BIS

For many of our families the school provides a focus of activity beyond the regular schedule of lessons. BIS tries to offer something for everyone in the form of curriculum extension activities or after-school programmes.

A student can get involved with:

• Extra-curricular sports both recreational and competitive

• Drama and arts productions/presentations
  
• a selection of 'electives' such as journalism, performance, or a third language or science
  
• Model United Nations
  
• the Student Council
  
• Student Newspapers

The school also becomes the local disco once a month, the village library, parent community centre and the meeting place of the Cub Scouts. We have many social activities that are coordinated by committed parents and teachers or by the students themselves.
